Sounds and Signs of Vaia. The storm told by sounds, videos and photographs. Exhibition within Ecomondo Off
Comune di Rimini
A sensory and visual exhibition route that traces the dimension, meaning and emotional impact of the extreme weather event that affected vast areas of the Alps at the end of October 2018.
The exhibition and related meetings are a project curated by METS-Museo Etnografico Trentino San Michele, in collaboration with the Municipality of Rimini and Rimini Blue Lab.
The project, conceived by Bolzano architect Claudio Lucchin, is divided into three moments: a sound experience, created by Elisa Pisetta and Cristian Posta, that reconstructs the sounds of the storm, through a 14-minute track to be listened to completely in the dark, inside an installation that transports the public, also in tactile and olfactory terms, to the natural theatre of events.
Eleven large reproductions with Roberto Besana's shots illustrating the moments before the storm, the damage it caused and the current situation complete the installation.
Lastly, the video "The unspeakable language of nature" by Davide Grecchi and Roberto Besana, on a text by Mimmo Sorrentino.
Opening hours: from 11 am to 5 pm; closed on non-holiday Mondays.
Where: Fulgor Palace, Piazzetta San Martino - Rimini city centre
Visit included in the entrance ticket to the Fellini Museum.
Info: 0541 793781
